Founder and Chief Advisor at '68 PARTNERS

An outcomes-driven, entrepreneurial professional, Sheri Tarr is uniquely positioned at the intersection of cannabis, commercialization, and compliance. She has amassed over three decades of successful real-world experience operating in an FDA-regulated environment. Sheri first held leadership positions in sales and marketing with global responsibility in Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies. Then she became an attorney who spent her career in the courtroom holding pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers accountable for deceptive marketing and defective manufacturing. More inspired by medical innovation than litigation, Sheri founded , a consultancy dedicated to helping life sciences companies and cannabis brands build sustainable businesses that have a transformative impact on consumers, patients, and the economy.
As a pharmaceutical executive-turned litigator, Sheri has a deep understanding of the complex business, organizational, and regulatory challenges faced by cannabis industry stakeholders. Using her business savvy and legal know-how, Sheri collaborates with clients to develop practical commercialization strategies--from concept to consumer to exit --that strike a healthy balance between financial goals and foreseeable risk.
Sheri’s specialties include holistic business advisory and growth strategy; straight-talk and practical advice; commercialization planning and regulatory guidance; cannabis license applications consulting; product safety from lab to label™; review of promotional materials including packaging and labeling; alliance-building and strategic partnering; and advocacy before regulators, investors, and other critical audiences.
